Jesshil Cottage is a charming self catering sandstone retreat located in the picturesque town of Clarens. Set at the end of Lake Clarens Drive, the cottage overlooks a peaceful dam often visited by donkeys, geese, swans and other birdlife. The property offers privacy and tranquility while still being within a short walking distance of local galleries, shops and restaurants. This free standing cottage comfortably accommodates up to four guests in two en suite bedrooms and provides generous outdoor space to enjoy the natural surroundings.

BEDROOMS AND LAYOUT
Jesshil Cottage features two inviting en suite bedrooms, each furnished with a queen bed and equipped with electric blankets for added comfort during cooler months. The rooms are designed to offer a restful stay with ample space and natural light. Both bedrooms open into the main living areas, creating an easy flow throughout the cottage.

BATHROOMS
Each bedroom has its own private bathroom. Both bathrooms include showers, and one bathroom also features a bath for guests who prefer a long soak. Towels are provided for your convenience.

KITCHEN
The fully equipped kitchenette includes everything needed for a comfortable self catering stay. A fridge and freezer keep your food and drinks cold, while a dishwasher ensures that cleaning up remains effortless. The open plan layout includes a dining table for shared meals and easy access to the living area.

LIVING AREAS AND ADDITIONAL SPACES
The open plan living area includes a cozy TV room with full DStv for entertainment. An indoor fireplace provides warmth and ambiance during the colder months. Outside, a covered wooden deck with a built in fireplace offers a relaxing space to unwind while taking in the beautiful views of Mount Horeb and the surrounding landscape. Guests are asked to provide their own wood. The abundant birdlife makes this an ideal spot for nature lovers, so bringing binoculars is recommended.

Up to two pets are welcome at this property only with prior approval, and guests must notify the property in advance if they plan to bring pets. Pets are not permitted on any furniture or beds. Guests are required to provide their own pet bedding and ensure that pets do not soil or cause any mess inside the house. Any damage to the property, furniture, or garden caused by pets will be the full responsibility of the guest, and the cost of repairs or cleaning will be charged accordingly. Pets may not be left unattended at the property and must remain under the guest’s control and supervision at all times. The property accepts no liability for any injury, loss, or damage arising from the presence of pets and makes no warranty regarding its suitability for hosting pets. Guests bringing pets without prior approval may be asked to remove them immediately and may be charged a penalty.
